The programme with informal classes allows grown-up children to reach a grade suitable for his/her age, in a short period. The Secondary Centre with formal schooling programme has a provision to enrol interested and needy grown-up children in suitable vocational training or apprenticeship schemes as well. The children are getting vocational training on the subjects like Carpentry, Plumbing, Thanka Painting, Sewing and Cutting, Auto-mechanics, Electrical Training, Press Operating etc. Besides the training, they could still continue formal schooling. Children are also sent to specialised training institutes for full time vocational training. Usefulness and market value of skills are also considered in enrolling children in such training schemes.
